The design accommodates retail units on the ground floor with three levels of apartments over. The Building borders the street edge on two sides, partially enclosing a large garden on the roof of the retail units provided for the apartment’s use. The massing and materiality of the building continues the line of neighbouring shops. Our intention has been to try and enhance and continue the character of the local area.
